A Franciscan Hospitaller Sister is someone who has felt God’s call to follow Jesus, living in family — the Fraternity — and dedicating her life to serving others, especially those who suffer most. Inspired by the joy of Saint Francis of Assisi and by Mary’s self giving, she embraces Hospitality as her distinctive mark. Her mission is to be a welcoming and simple presence in today’s world, attentive to the needs of our time and ready to spread the joy of hope to every place where God’s presence is most needed.
