Consecrated Life FHIC

Being a Consecrated Franciscan Hospitaller Sister of the Immaculate Conception is to be inserted in the world and situated in time, in a permanent attitude of listening to the will of God, through his mediations and going out to meet our sisters and brothers, in need of care, welcome, service … It is a constant pilgrimage through the world, closer and more distant, bearing human warmth, fraternal love, and mercy, on a journey of faith from which springs the fruitful vitality that enhances hope in life that is always renewed and abundant with divine grace.

This year, particularly motivated by the Jubilee of our Foundation (May 3, 1871-2021) and by Pope Francis' urgent call to revive the aspiration to fraternity and to dream together (Fratelli Tutti), we want to express our praise and gratitude for our vocation of Consecrated Franciscan Hospitaller Life, in the wake of our Founders, Father Raimundo dos Anjos Beirão and Blessed Maria Clara of the Child Jesus. We will therefore echo the sharing of some Sisters who represent various places in the CONFHIC mission, through a video with the colourful brief testimonies of what it means to be a Franciscan Hospitaller Sister of the Immaculate Conception, of the Word of God that best expresses her gratitude and praise for her consecrated vocation and the word of the Founders that best reflects their consecration.
